The enemy want to shut you down. Often times, he uses betrayal as a way to do that. Betrayal, especially from those you love, keeps you in a victim, self-pity mindset. God wants us to come to a breakthrough through our hurts. He wants us to realize our war is not with flesh and blood but with powers and principalities. What you need to let go from your past may be what is keeping you from your future.
